Dat-inf Color Analysis

Introduction

Dat-inf Color Analysis is used to analyze image data by identifying and isolating similarly colored areas in an image through adjustable color parameters. A color region can be selected to define specific color ranges. Each range can be enlarged or reduced using weighting settings.

The color areas are then analyzed, and the area of each group of similarly colored segments is calculated. It is also possible to define a scale for the image in order to obtain correct size measurements.

Examples of use:

  • In quality inspection: measuring contamination and determining the size of paint damage or corrosion.
  • In scientific analysis: studying the spread of specific color patterns in biological or technical materials.

This software can be used in many areas wherever the identification and quantification of colors matters.
