Tool: screen, display and projection size calculator
Width, height, PPI and pixel pitch
Enter diagonal size + resolution (or a short text such as 27" 2560x1440) and the tool calculates the physical size, pixel density (PPI) and pixel pitch. Processing happens entirely in the browser – no data is transmitted.
Short input (optional)
Recognized live: diagonal size (inch/cm/mm; e.g. 34'', 34", 34 inch), resolution (e.g. 3840×2160) and common abbreviations such as UHD/4K, FHD, QHD, UWQHD/UWQHD+, DQHD/DFHD, as well as XGA variants (e.g. WXGA, WUXGA, WQXGA) and 720p/1080p/1440p/2160p.
Inputs
For projectors, you can specify width or height instead of the diagonal. The other dimension is calculated from the aspect ratio.
You can also enter only width or height — in that case an aspect ratio is also required.
Output
Pixel pitch = physical pixel size (mm/px). PPI = pixels per inch.
Notes
- Pixel pitch = physical pixel size (mm/px). PPI = pixels per inch.
- If only width or height in pixels is known, the missing dimension can be derived from the aspect ratio.
- The short input recognizes common terms such as UHD/4K, FHD, QHD and many XGA variants.
